I completely love my adobe audition, I had Cubis but didn't like it that much, Audition feels so much more intuitive to use to me.

I use it and like it. Easy to use interface and the built-in effects aren't bad either.

Hey thanks guys. I knew about Audacity but could not remember the name.
Also, I talke dto my old bass player and he thinks he still has a full "copy" laying around.

2nd for Cubase. I use it on Mac & PC. Can't stand anything else :)

Been using Adobe for a few years now and I love it. I've never ran into something I couldn't figure out on my own.

Adobe bought out Syntrillium & basically yes it is but updated tons.
