Epiphone Valve Junior Due to the cost of the Epiphone Valve Junior it's almost impossible to pass one up. At $99 for the head and $139 for the combo you just need to grab one and give it a try. Single-ended Class A amp that pushes 5W with a single EL84 tube and a 12AX7. The combo push an 8" speaker to surprisingly loud volumes. The head version includes DC filaments for reduced hum.
