Randall MTS Amp Specifics
Let's cover the different amps and the specific features that are available in the Randall MTS
series.
Randall RM Rack Gear
The rack setup features the Randall RM4 preamp and a separate tube power amp the RT2/50.
The RM4 houses 4 of the Randall preamp modules for the ultimate in tone flexibility. Imagine
going from ultra clean to Vox breakup to Marshall Plexi to Boogie Recto tones in one preamp.
Four independent channels (with your choice of vintage to modern voiced preamps)
Parallel effects loops with front panel mix control

Two 12AX7's buffer the effects loop

The Randall RT2/50 is a 2 channel power amp with channel 1 featuring 6L6's and channel
featuring EL34's. Each channel can be changed via midi making it easy to match the appropriate
power section to each module. Or setup the power amp for 100 watts stereo mode.

Randall RM Heads
The heads come in 2 flavors, 50 watts and 100 watts. The 100 watt models feature 3 preamp slots
while the 50 watt version features 2 preamp slots plus reverb. The 100 watt versions can also
change channel via midi while the 50 watt head uses the typical amp channel select foot switch.

RM100M2 - Blackface, Plexi, XTC
RM100S2 - Blackface, Plexi, XTC
RM50HB - Blackface & Plexi + Accutronics spring reverb.
The RM100M1 and M2 feature metal grill front while the RM100S has a more traditional look.
